Peterhead Lido Beach is the most sheltered of Aberdeenshireโs many sandy beaches, as it is inside the inner harbour of Peterhead’s offshore supply base and just a short walk from the town centre. The beach allows dogs all year round.
There is a marina, campsite and ample car parking nearby with full facilities in the town of Peterhead nearby. Various watersports are allowed here, and there is a lovely walk up to Buchan Ness.
The nice thing about this beach is that there are no dog restrictions! The water quality is excellent, and they’ve won the Green Coast Award and are Marine Conservation Society Recommended too! Pop in and visit the Peterhead Lifeboat Station while you’re there.
