Peterhead Lido Beach Information
Peterhead Lido Beach is the most sheltered of Aberdeenshire’s many sandy beaches as it is inside the inner harbour of Peterhead’s offshore supply base and just a short walk from the town center. There is a marina, campsite and ample car parking nearby with full facilities in the town of Peterhead nearby. Various watersports are allowed here and there is a lovely walk up to Buchan Ness.
There are many attractions in reach of this area like the castles, the archaeological sites and other activities such as Go Ape for family fun and you’ll find good accommodation close to the beach too.
Nice thing about this beach is that there are no dog restrictions! The water quality is excellent and they’ve won the Green Coast Award and are Marine Conservation Society Recommended too! Pop in and visit the Peterhead Lifeboat Station while you’re there.
Peterhead Lido Beach has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.
Peterhead Lido Beach is dog friendly and allows dogs all year.
