Llanfairfechan beach is a pebble beach that exposes large areas of sand as the tide goes out.
Facilities include parking, toilets, food, shop, slipway and the beach is backed by a large promenade.
Morfa Madryn, the salt marsh area immediately west of the town on the shore of Traeth Lafan, is a local authority-managed nature reserve of outstanding beauty and a favourite haunt of bird watchers. The site is home to cormorants, shags and the little regret.
Llanfairfechan Beach is a Blue Flag Beach.
