Llanfairfechan beach pebbles at the high water mark between the groynes but then exposes large areas of sand as the tide goes out.
The beach has some great views towards Puffin Island and the Great Orme.
Llanfairfechan Beach does not allow dogs between the two slipways from the 1st of May to the end of September.
A large promenade backs the beach, and the beach facilities include parking, toilets, food, a shop, and a slipway.
About one mile along the coast to the west is Morfa Madryn, a mixture of wetland habitats on the shore of Traeth Lafan. This local authority-managed nature reserve is of outstanding beauty and a favourite location for bird watchers.
