This was Hepworth’s home and working studio from 1949 until her death in 1975, left much as she had used it. Inside, you’ll see her tools, sketches and personal touches that make it feel like she just popped out for a cuppa. Step into the garden and you’re surrounded by her bronze and stone sculptures, perfectly framed by palms and Cornish light. On a quiet day, you can almost hear the sea while you wander.
From the harbour, it’s just a short uphill walk through the winding lanes. If you’ve come by train, it’s about ten minutes from St Ives station.
