Bessys Cove is part of the Prussia Cove group of Coves, Bessys Cove is a picturesque cove which is mainly rocky but has small patches of white sand. It is popular with families and is also used for snorkelling.
Dogs are allowed all year at Bessy’s Cove
While visiting, also take a walk along the coast path to another dog-friendly beach at Piskies Cove and Cudden Point for great views.
It is famous as the home of the Carters, a family of smugglers in the 18th century, one of whom was known as the King of Prussia – hence the name for the group of coves.
A small car park but no other facilities.
