Polventon beach is a sandy beach interlaced with some interesting rocky coves and sits below Trevose Head. Polventon beach is also known as Mother Ivey’s Bay
The beach has no facilities, you will need to park at Harlyn Bay or Trevose Head and take the coastal path.

The Trevone Bay Cafe and Shop sits behind the beach by the car park. You will find a cafe, shop and you can hire wet suits, surfboards, kayaks and bodyboards. The bay can be a little rough and the shop is always on hand to offer advice on the conditions.

Booby’s Bay is a wide sandy beach with many rock pools and popular with more experienced surfers, although no beach available at high tide. Access to the beach is by climbing down from the coast path or walking along the beach at low tide. Park at Treyarnon Bay or Constantine Bay (limited) and walk the coast path to Booby’s Bay.

Trevose Head lighthouse’s light is situated on the northwest extremity of the head, with gigantic cliffs of grey granite rising sheer from the sea to a height of 150 feet or more.
