  • Information

Although you might have “sands” in the resort name you will not find any. Grange-over-Sands was a popular Victorian and Edwardian resort within Morecambe Bay that lies between the mountains and the sea.

The resort has nice gardens, options to eat and a car-free promenade that looks out onto miles of saltmarsh.

Note that the saltmarsh should not be accessed as in many places you have quicksands.

We have no current information on dog restrictions for Grange-over-Sands Beach.
