Ballywalter is a village situated on the east (Irish Sea) coast of the Ards Peninsula.

Facilities include small playground nearby, grass areas behind the beach, car parking and toilets.

Ballywalter Beach has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.

  • Cleanest stretch of beach along coast!
    Toilets beside the play park on the strand. Usually unlocked. Dog friendly (make sure to pick up mess, there are bins every few hundred feet). The cafe and bar on the main street will usually let kids nip in to use the loo.
