Brighton Toy and Model Museum
The Brighton Toy And Model Museum has an extensive collection of toys and models that extends over four thousand square feet of floorspace, through four of the early Victorian arches supporting Brighton railway station’s forecourt. Founded in 1991, it has over ten thousand toys and models in its catalogue, including priceless model train collections and many period antique toys.

Saltdean beach is shingle between rock groynes backed by high chalk cliffs and at low tide, you have rock pools to explore. Located approximately 5 miles to the East of Brighton. Due to the coastal erosion on this part of the coast you have a lot of concrete defences visible, so this is not a beach to get back to nature

West Quay beach is a sand and shingle beach tucked behind the western breakwater. Newhaven Fort is located on top of the cliffs with tunnels that lead down to the beach. Facilities include parking, cafe, slipway.

Newhaven Harbour beach is a small sandy beach within the harbour breakwaters that is exposed at low tide. The beach shares parking, cafe and slipway with the West Quay beach the other side of the breakwater. We have no dog information for Newhaven Harbour beach.

Victoria Chalets are located at Marina on St Leonards beach. These ten seasonal wooden chalets are available for weekly hire from March – September. Hire starts at 14:00 on the commencing Saturday and terminates at 11:30 noon on the vacating Saturday. Beach huts should only be used during the hours of daylight and should never be used for overnight accommodation.

The museum galleries include 20th Century Art & Design, and Fashion & clothes from the 18th century to the present day. Brighton Theatre Royal was opened on 27 June 1807 after the Prince of Wales gave Royal Assent for the theatre to be built. Today this grade II listed building is one of the oldest working theatres in the UK with a fine example of a regency auditorium.
