Largo East beach is a sandy beach to the east of Lower Largo beach and behind it, you have the Dumbarnie Links Nature Reserve. No facilities at the beach you need to park in Lower Largo and then head out of the village along the coastal path or sand.

St Monans Tidal Pool has been returned to life by the local community and sits in an idyllic location under the old windmill. The windmill was used to pump seawater into the now abandoned salt pans. You will need to park in St Monans and take the short walk along the coastal path. This is also just down the coast

The Dumbarnie Links Nature Reserve is a rich dune based grassland that offers a wide selection of rare plants, insects and seabirds. No facilities at the reserve. To access Dumbarnie Links you need to park in Lower Largo and then follow the Fife Coastal Path east along the edge of Largo Bay for about a mile until you reach the reserve.

The whole West Braes area has undergone a renewal project that includes the tidal pool, for more information and to support them visit West Braes Project.
