Black Rock Sands at Porthmadog in North Wales is a great beach for kitesurfing with plenty of space for everyone. You always have plenty of beach available and the water is calm and flat in light winds, perfect for beginners, whilst in stronger winds, you get a swell and waves. It is possible to kitesurf on all tides and just after high tide you have a lagoon.
kitesurfing is allowed all year round and the beach is also great for landboarding but this is banned in the summer months.
You also have the added bonus that you can take your car onto the beach for the day making things a lot easier,m although care should be taken to keep away from the roadway.
