Moelfre Beach

Moelfre Beach, located on the northeast coast of Anglesey in North Wales, is a picturesque and tranquil spot. The lifeboat station overlooks this small, pebbly beach and offers stunning views of the Irish Sea and surrounding coastline.

Moelfre is situated along the Anglesey Coastal Path, offering excellent opportunities for walking and hiking along the scenic coastline. The path leads to nearby beaches and coves, providing stunning views and a chance to explore the local landscape.

As the beach at Moelfre is more of a small harbour than a beach, most people who want a sandy beach, head a couple of km north to Lligwy Bay.

Moelfre Beach allows dogs all year round.

There is a car park in the village of Moelfre, a short walk from the beach, but during peak times, it’s wise to arrive early to secure a spot. The village also has public toilets at the car park and a pub.
