The Norfolk Broads are a series of rivers and lakes in the county of Norfolk.
Covering around 303 square kilometres, two thirds of the connected waterways are navigable and range from small ponds to larger areas such as Hickling and Breydon. The depth of the broads is usually less than 4 metres.
The Broads are a well-known destination in the UK for sailing enthusiasts and for those wanting a relaxing boating holiday. This special area of East Anglia has something for all the family and introduces people to the magic and mysticism of rivers.
All over the Broads, there is a variety of different accommodation available, from self-catering cottages up to larger hotels. Walking and cycling routes follow the rivers through the beautiful countryside. More details at www.norfolkbroads.com
