Pwllcrochan Beach Info | Pembrokeshire Coast

Pwllcrochan beach is a dark sandy beach but this disappears at high tide. The rocks and cliffs are under constant battering by the sea so caution should be taken in exploring this beautiful remote bay.

The name Pwllcrochan translates to ‘Cauldron pool’.

The beach has no facilities, access is tricky down a steep path and care needs to be taken to make sure you are not cut off when the tide comes in.

Access is on foot from the coastal path with the best options for parking on the roadside at Abermawr Bay Beach to the south or at Pwll Deri to the north.
