Tenby North and Harbour Beaches

Tucked into the charming seaside town of Tenby, North Beach and Harbour Beach together offer two very different but equally delightful beach experiences.

North Beach is a sweeping stretch of golden sand backed by a promenade and cliff paths. It’s visually dominated by Goskar Rock, a dramatic rock formation in the bay that is an excellent spot for exploring at low tide.

• Great for sunbathing and swimming: The bay is relatively sheltered, making it ideal for families.
• Rock pools: Around Goskar Rock, especially when the tide is low.

The nearest parking is North Beach Car Park, off Gas Lane (via Narberth Road / A478). If it’s full, you can park elsewhere in Tenby and walk: several town car parks are within walking distance.

Harbour Beach is tucked into Tenby Harbour, a much smaller, more secluded sandy spot.

• Picturesque setting: It sits under the old harbour wall, with boats bobbing nearby, very scenic, especially at low tide.
• Great for toddlers / young kids: The small sandy stretch is ideal for gentle paddling.

Dogs are banned from both North and Harbour Beaches from 1st May to 30th September, except for guide dogs.
