Dunwich Heath Coastal Centre and Beach is a remote, beautiful stretch of Suffolk coastline. Coastal lowland heath sandy cliffs and beach, rich in wildlife, offering tranquillity and excellent views.
The shingle beach backs onto a heath, large reedbeds and woodland.
Dogs are very welcome at Dunwich Heath. They can be let off the lead on the beach all year round, but from 31st March to 31st August, all dogs must be kept on a lead and must stick to the footpaths on the heath.
Parking (free at the beach but charged at the Heath), toilets, good food, tea and gifts at the old Coastguard Cottages.
