Mewslade Bay is an excellent unspoilt beach. There is no beach at high tide but low tide it is possible to walk around to Fall Bay. The short walk to the beach from Rhossili, leads through a wooded valley which is owned by the National Trust, although the path is not suitable for pushchairs and can get muddy in places

Llangennith beach is a sandy beach backed by dunes at the western end of the Gower peninsula. The beaches western aspect makes it a good surf spot picking up some steady Atlantic waves.
