Explore Aberystwyth Beaches and Coastline

Aberystwyth sits in Ceredigion on the West Wales coast facing the Irish sea and is often referred to as Aber. This harbour town is located at the point where the rivers Ystwyth and Rheidol meet. Aberystwyth has stretches of beach either side of the castle and then a further stretch to the south of the harbour. The main beach is the northern beach which is also where the pier resides. When visiting it is well worth a visit up Constitution Hill on he Aberystwyth Cliff Railway as this provides some excellent panoramic views.
