Isle Of Anglesey Destination Guide

Explore Isle of Anglesey Beaches and Coast

Anglesey is an island off the North West coast of Wales and is joined to the mainland by two bridges.

If you’re after relaxation then Anglesey is the right spot. A spectacular coastline of 210km (125 miles) awaits you threaded through with history, good food, interesting attractions, great outdoor activities and lots of varied events. Get away from it all and lose yourself walking the dedicated coastal path that runs around the whole island or visit Holy Island in the northwest.

Holy island is a place of surprises and holy sites, breathtaking scenery, towering cliffs and archaeological sites, nature reserves and the most stunning beaches. Having a large concentration in such a small area of prehistoric sites like burial chambers, hut circles, standing stones and old villages makes this a special place.

Anglesey is a must if you’re visiting North Wales as it is an area with dramatic scenery, coastlines and historical links.
