The Southport coastline is over 22 miles in length, it stretches from Crosby Beach up to Southport and beyond. The long beach stretch is backed by sand dunes and after Crosby beach on the outskirts of Liverpool, you have the natural beach backed by pinewoods at Formby beach, the sporty Ainsdale beach and then finish with Southport resort beach.
