Littlehampton is within West Sussex, located approximately 55 miles south of London pretty equidistance between Bognor Regis and Worthing. West Sussex as a whole is often an overlooked area with people heading to the counties either side, Hampshire or East Sussex. Although Littlehampton does not offer a coastal town with lots of character it does offer a great home base for a break on the West Sussex coast. The closest beaches being: the main Littlehampton sea front with a large seafront green, West Beach is a site of special scientific interest and features some of Britain's most unspoilt examples of Sand Dunes, and then a short walk along to Climping.
