A La Ronde
A La Ronde is a unique 16-sided house, built around 1796 on the instructions of two spinster cousins, Jane and Mary Parminter, on their return from a grand tour of Europe.
The house contains many objects brought back by the cousins from their travels. The space in the roof contains a shell-encrusted gallery that is now so fragile that it can only be viewed by visitors by means of a closed-circuit television.
