Babbacombe Beach is a private beach located to the east of Torquay, a small sand and shingle beach with rock pools set beneath the cliffs at Babbacombe Downs. The promenade on Babbacombe Downs is known as the highest in England and has spectacular coastal views.
It is a popular beach for exploring the rock pools, cliffs and walks, and also for diving, fishing and sailing.
Dogs are allowed all year at Babbacombe Beach.
Facilities at the beach include cafe/refreshments, disabled facilities, limited parking, a promenade, toilets (summer only) and a slipway.
