Maidencombe is a small sandy cove surrounded by red sandstone cliffs and has rock pools at low tide.
Access is down a steep narrow path.
Good access to the coastal paths giving excellent views of the rugged coastline.
Facilities include small pay and display car park, cafe and toilets (summer only).
Maidencombe Beach has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.

Sandy beach surrounded by cliffs and wood hillsides. The steep path that accesses the beach passes through woodland before arriving at the small cove. Car park available on Watcombe Beach Road with then a short walk down to the beach through woodland. Cafe in the cove by the beach. We have no dog information for Watcombe beach.

Oddicombe is a shingle beach at the bottom of red sandstone cliffs. The cliff top has magnificent views across the bay and to get down to the beach you will need the steep path or the cliff railway. Teignmouth lifeboat station was established in 1851 and operates an inshore lifeboat. The lifeboat station has an 1862 boathouse. Station open Thursday – Sunday. Shop open daily Easter – October, Nov/Dec – Fri and Sun only.
