Moretonhampstead Outdoor Swimming Pool is a community run, open air, solar heated, 25 metre swimming pool.
The pool normally opens at the end of May to the beginning of September, dependant on the weather.

Coryton Cove beach is an ideal family beach with gentle shelving sand/shingle and rock pools. The cove lies between the red cliffs of Dawlish and is backed by the train line. Castle Drogo is set above the Teign Gorge at a height of nearly 300 metres with spectacuklar views over the Dartmoor National Park. As well as the castle you have formal gardens and paths through the valley and gorge. The castle facilities include cafe, gift shop and plant centre.

Grimspound is one of the many prehistoric settlements you can find on Dartmoor. Dating from the late Bronze Age (about 1450–700 BC) you have the remains of 24 stone roundhouses a massive boundary wall about 150 metres in diameter.
