Westcombe Beach
Westcombe beach is a small remote sandy cove. A little way outside Bigbury and requires a walk along the coast path to arrive at what is a nice picturesque cove that is never that busy.

Challaborough beach is a popular family and surfing beach offering a predominantly left-hand point break. It has a horseshoe shaped bay with a sand bar protecting the entrance and is split by a small stream. The beach has views of Burgh Island. Bigbury-on-Sea beach is a large sandy beach, with some shingle mix. The beach is popular with surfers, windsurfers, kitesurfers and swimmers and great for traditional children beach games with shallow water is ideal for paddling. Wonwell Sands beach is a small sandy beach on the east side of the Erme estuary. At low tide you have a large area of sand but the beach becomes limited in space as the tide comes in. Parking is limited and access via a narrow lane from Kingston village. We have no dog information for Wonwell Sands beach.

Burgh Island is a small tidal island off the coast of South Devon in England, near the small seaside village of Bigbury-on-Sea. There are several buildings on the island, including the Burgh Island hotel, an iconic Art Deco landmark and retreat. The island is approximately 270 yards (250 m) from the mainland and is approachable on foot at low tide.
