City Art Centre
The City Art Centre is situated in the centre of Edinburgh and offers a look into historic and contemporary Scottish visual and applied arts.
Exhibits are displayed on a rotating basis with a diverse ever-changing programme including historic and modern Scottish painting and photography, as well as contemporary art and craft.
The centre has a lift providing disabled access to all six floors, along with a gift shop and café on the ground floor.

Cramond beach is a small sandy beach close to Edinburgh. At low tide, you can cross the causeway to Cramond Island, although you need to be aware of the incoming tide so that you don’t get cut-off or you may well have to spend the night on the island. The Scott Monument is a Victorian Gothic monument to Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. The tower is 200 feet 6 inches (61.11 m) high, built from Binny sandstone and has viewing platforms reached by a series of spiral staircases giving panoramic views of central Edinburgh and its surroundings.
