Frinton-on-Sea Beach
Frinton-on-Sea is a small quiet seaside town in Essex and is a world away from it is busier neighbours of Walton-on-the-Naze and Clacton-on-Sea.
Frinton-on-Sea has a sandy beach with wooden groynes, more than a 1.5km (1 mile) long, with zoned areas for swimming, sailing and windsurfing. The beach is backed by a promenade and a large grass area.
You have some interesting beach huts at the promenade level that at the beach are on stilts.
Parking on the road, toilets, shops, one pub, beach huts and grassy areas.
Frinton-on-Sea Beach is a Blue Flag Beach and has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.

Walton and Frinton lifeboat station was established in 12884 and operates an all weather lifeboat. This was one of the 19 stations that supported the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from Dunkirk. Station only open by appointment. Shop daily mid February to mid December.

The Pier at Clacton-on-Sea was opened on 27 July 1871. The pier was originaly a wooden structure 160 yards (150 m) in length and 4 yards (3.7 m) wide.
