Information

Ravenscraig Castle is built on a rock promontory in the Firth of Forth at Kirkcaldy at the east end of Pathhead Sands.

This ruined castle dates back to the 1460’s and had natural steep cliffs on the three sea sides and then the main castle defences, two big D-shaped towers,  built on the landward side.
