Information

Southsea Parade Pier sits in the middle of the long Southsea Beach and promenade, the original 1,950ft (591m) pier was intended for the use of passengers traveling to and from the Isle of Wight.

In 1904, a serious fire destroyed the structure, reopened in 1908 after a rebuild and is now a lot shorter at just 600ft (183m).

The pier has entertainment for the whole family, with an amusement arcade, fishing or taking a stroll and having a potter around our shops, restaurants and bars.  The pier also offers events, shows and live music in The Gaiety Southsea.
