Shakespeare Beach is the stretch of shingle beach to the west of Dover Harbour Admiralty Pier to the white chalk of Shakespeare Cliff. We have no dog information for Shakespeare beach.

St Margarets Bay beach is a mix of sand, pebbles and shingles under white chalk cliffs. The beach at St Margaret’s is famous for being the closest point to France and is often where Channel swimmers begin their 21-mile swim. Facilities at the beach include parking, toilets, a cafe and a slipway.

Beach Hut on Tankerton beach just a few minutes walk from public toilets, cafes and local shops. Facilities include: balcony table/chairs, deck chairs, rugs, kettle, cutlery, crockery and books. Daily hire is from 9am to 10pm. Special rates available for longer hire periods including weekends and weekly hire. Sorry but we don’t allow pets.
