    Leysdown-on-sea is sandy beach on the east side of the Isle of Sheppey. The beach has a high sea wall with ramps/steps at intervals.

    This is a traditional small seaside town with shops, holiday parks, promenade, amusement arcades and a selection of places to eat.

    Leysdown-on-sea Beach has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.

    Water samples are taken at regular intervals during the bathing season and at the end of the season the water quality is classified as:
