Lossiemouth – East beach is accessed by a footbridge over the mouth of the River Lossie. There are sand dunes along the first section of the east beach which were created artificially in the early 1900’s by placing disused railway carriages behind the beach. Parking near beach. Facilities available in town. We have no dog information for Lossiemouth East beach.

Burghead is built on a peninsula that projects north-westward into the Moray Firth, resulting in the town having the sea on 3 sides. The Visitor Centre is in the former coastguard lookout and will take visitors through the history of the area from about 400AD to the present time.
