Hopeman has two large sandy dog-friendly beaches split by the harbour: West Beach is the smaller of the two, whilst large, grassy sand dunes surround the larger East Beach that has rocky areas with some good rockpools.
You actually have another beach to the east, a smaller hidden beach with stones and rock formations.
If you are lucky you may get to see bottlenose dolphins in the Moray Firth off the coast of Hopeman.
Facilities include parking, beach huts and more in the town of Hopeman itself. The Harbour sits between the East and West Beaches and no longer supports a fishing fleet but now mainly houses pleasure vessels.
