Sands of Wright Beach

Sands of Wright is a sandy sheltered beach.

Venue for the annual South Ronaldsay Boys Ploughing Match, an event where children dress up in costumes resembling the harnesses of the horses which were once used to plough.

Facilities include toilets and parking on the beach with St Margaret’s Hope being the closest location for shops and places to eat.
