Berrow Beach

Berrow Beach is part of a six-mile stretch of beach with sand dunes and firm sand. This is the second longest stretch of sand in Europe, and features include secluded dunes, a shipwreck and marshland that attracts various seabirds.

Dogs are permitted throughout the year on Berrow Beach.

At low tide, you have a large area of soft sand and mud, and care needs to be taken as it is hazardous to approach the water at low tide due to the mud.

Car park at Brean and the beach and dunes are warden patrolled in the summer.

Horse riding is also allowed on this beach.
