Mewslade Bay is an excellent unspoilt beach. There is no beach at high tide but low tide it is possible to walk around to Fall Bay. The short walk to the beach from Rhossili, leads through a wooded valley which is owned by the National Trust, although the path is not suitable for pushchairs and can get muddy in places

Oxwich Castle is a ruined Tudor mansion which stands on a wooded headland overlooking Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. Built in the early 16th century by Sir Rice Mansel, and later added to by his son Sir Edward Mansel, Oxwich is an example of the Tudor courtyard style of architecture and includes a long Elizabethan gallery.
