Whiteford Sands Beach
Whiteford Sands beach is a large sandy beach backed by dunes. Behind the dunes you have Whiteford Burrows that is an important feeding ground for wading birds and wildfowl.
Currents can be strong along this beach so care should be taken.
No facilities at Whiteford Sands with the closest parking just outside of Llanmadoc.

Broughton Bay beach is a big sandy beach backed by large sand dunes on the Gower peninsula. There is also a small cove at the southern end of the bay. Mewslade Bay is an excellent unspoilt beach. There is no beach at high tide but low tide it is possible to walk around to Fall Bay. The short walk to the beach from Rhossili, leads through a wooded valley which is owned by the National Trust, although the path is not suitable for pushchairs and can get muddy in places

Oxwich Castle is a ruined Tudor mansion which stands on a wooded headland overlooking Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. Built in the early 16th century by Sir Rice Mansel, and later added to by his son Sir Edward Mansel, Oxwich is an example of the Tudor courtyard style of architecture and includes a long Elizabethan gallery.
