Broughton Bay Beach
Broughton Bay beach is a big sandy beach backed by large sand dunes on the Gower peninsula. There is also a small cove at the southern end of the bay.
Swimming can be dangerous due to the tides and undertows but in calmer conditions surfing, windsurfing and kite-surfing is possible.
At low tide you can access the adjacent Whiteford Sands beach to the north.
Parking is available at Broughton Burrows to the south end of the bay.

Llangennith beach is a sandy beach backed by dunes at the western end of the Gower peninsula. The beaches western aspect makes it a good surf spot picking up some steady Atlantic waves. Whiteford Sands beach is a large sandy beach backed by dunes. Behind the dunes you have Whiteford Burrows that is an important feeding ground for wading birds and wildfowl. Currents can be strong along this beach so care should be taken. No facilities at Whiteford Sands with the closest parking just outside of Llanmadoc.
