Torrisdale Beach (The Scottish Highlands)

    Torrisdale Beach is a wide sandy beach with dunes located within Torrisdale Bay to the west of Bettyhill.

    The beach can offer some good waves for surfing.

    This beach has no facilities and requires a walk to access it. You have two realistic options, the first is from Torrisdale on the west end and the second is to the south-west of Bettyhill on the A836 once you have negotiated the River Naver that separates Bettyhill on the eastern end.
