Atlantic College lifeboat station
Atlantic College was one of the first nine inshore lifeboat stations to be established by the RNLI. Experimental work on the development of fast inshore rescue boats was carried out here and it was also the first station to have a female helmsman.

Limpert Bay beach is sand and pebbles and the foreshore at Limpert Bay has Jurassic Boulders. The beach still has a number of pill boxes which remain from World War II. Car park next to power station.

Dunraven Castle was actually a fortified mansion built in 1803 near Southerndown on the South Wales coast. This is on the headland overlooking Dunraven Bay and is a spectacular location. The castle is in ruins but the walled garden survives.

Fonmon Castle is medieval castle near the village of Fonmon in the Vale of Glamorgan. It was built around 1200 by the St John family and has only changed hands once.
