1.  Kessingland Beach Holiday Park (Park Resorts)

Kessingland Beach Holiday Park is in Lowestoft right next to the popular seaside resort of Southwold.  There are two swimming pools, a children’s club, soft play area and of course the local beaches to provide hours of fun for the family.

2.  YHA Blaxhall, Suffolk

The YHA Blaxhall is a redbrick property which has recently been refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation in what was once the village school. It now offers good disabled access and great facilities for families. For bird watching, seafood, cycling and walking, YHA Blaxhall is a great option. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this former school is on the edge of the unique habitat of Suffolk Sandlings. Visit the bird reserves at Minsmere and Orfordness or immerse yourself in the area’s Anglo Saxon heritage at Sutton Hoo. Tasty meals are served in our restaurant. 3.  Colston Hall – B&B
Colston Hall is a sixteenth-century farmhouse with cottages which allows them to offer self-catering or B&B accommodation.  It’s convenient to take day trips to the local attractions and it’s peaceful too!

There are 18 rooms, most with en-suite – just check!  The property follows a strict non-smoking policy and offers free car parking to guests.

You can explore the peaceful market towns of Woodbridge, Framlingham, Halesworth and Debenham or discover the scenic Suffolk Heritage Coast at Aldeburgh, Southwold and Dunwich.They also offer meeting facilities for businesses and organisations, free wi-fi and on-site coarse fishing.

4.  Sunny Cottage, Southwold

This is a lovely self-catering end terrace cottages which face open fields in the small village of Blyth.  There are miles of walking footpaths, sandy beaches close by, pubs, shops and restaurants within an easy stroll.

The cottage offers a double room, a twin bed bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, lounge, dining room and well-equipped kitchen with off road parking and a small but private garden.

5.  Chapel Cottage, Long Melford

This is a two bedroom detached cottage set back of the street.  Long Melford is a beautiful town with a lot of old buildings and sites close by.  It’s a good all year round choice of accommodation in this area as it’s cosy and well heated with a wood burning stove in the sitting room for those chilly evenings.

It’s beautifully presented in a country cottage style.
