Halloween is almost upon us and we’re wondering what you’ll be up to this year in the United Kingdom.
It’s that time of year when you want to dress a little spookily, let your hair down and indulge in your own kind of trick or treat. Thing is, where do you go?
Here are a few coastline suggestions!
1. Enjoy a Halloween Spectacular at the Globe, Black Pool
This is a phantasmorgic show in Circus style that will send shivers down your spine and make your blood curdle. It features Fangtastic, Dare Devil and Bizarre Circus acts from all over the world. It’s not suitable for children but great fun for adults and be sure to dress your best!
Wednesday, 31st October at 8pm. Prices start at £15 per adult.
2. Poisoned Cocktails at Aruba, Bournemouth
Join the spooky crowd at Aruba at the Pier Approach in Bournemouth for a deathly good time with all the other mummies, vamps, zombies and magic folk! They’re offering spooky shots, terrifying tunes and free entry on 27th and 28th October. Dress to kill!
3. Spooktacular, Carnevil in the Heart of England
Enjoy the Forest of Fear, Big Top of Terror and Hell at the biggest Spook fest in England this year!
An old carnival was abandoned here years ago and now the wood has turned into a forest, home of everything scary and you’re invited to a viewing of the land. This is only for over 18’s! Tickets are £42.50 but include welcome drink, three-course meal, games, carnEvil fun, Demented disco and a bit of a show!
Wear your wellies as it’s in the grounds of the CarnEvil!
4. Scaresville, Suffolk (12 Oct – 3 Nov)
Imagine a small, haunted village where you’re expected to spend the night on Halloween!
Scaresville only appears in the grounds of Kentwell Hall in the Autumn. Locals tell horrifying tales of previous visitors screams rending the cold night air during their hour journey through dark rooms, forests and farmland.
There are no safe zones in Scaresville, only terror! This isn’t for the faint-hearted. Go if you dare.
5. Vampire Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Pleasure Beach
The vampires are turning the beach red this Halloween as the 42-acre amusement park gets invaded by beasties, ghouls and witches. Guaranteed to give you the fright of your life this year.
They kick off at 4 pm handing out blood red cocktails and send you packing at 10 pm but in between, you can enjoy the UK’s tallest roller coaster, ride the Big One and get blasted on the Ice Blast. The park will be monitored by zombies, characters and cackling witches with tricks and treats for all the family to shriek at.
With the Horror Maze and entertainment from Boomin’, R3actor and stilt walkers and angle grinders, this will be a Halloween to shiver about! Prices from £17 online.
6. Fright Night at Thorpe Park, Surrey (16th Oct – 4 Nov)
Prepare to die. That’s the promise of The Passing at Thorpe Park. You are tried, tested and sentenced to death and then you have to survive the horror of the Passing to reach your resting place.
This is just one of Thorpe Parks fantastic ghoulish experiences for Halloween! The theme for Halloween is Fright Nights and you’ve been sentenced to serve time in the gaol with the most dangerous and insane criminals in the world. You’ll be shut in and no one will hear your cries!
