Which beach for Bonfire Night in England?

Do you remember the 5th of November? Fireworks!

It’s almost bonfire night and on the 5th November we’ll all be wondering where to go to enjoy the rockets, Catherine wheels and blazing bonfires with the taste of mulled wine, hotdogs and hamburgers and pig roast!

There are load of places around England to commemorate the capture of Guy Fawkes and the great gunpowder plot of 1605 and we’ve gathered a bit of info for you about those on beaches.

Ottery St Mary in Devon

This is serious fire fun as the residents of Ottery St Mary actually carry barrels full of fire through the streets of the town on Bonfire Night.  To top it all they usually have a 30 foot bonfire with loads of massive, bright fireworks and a fairground for you all to enjoy.

Penrhos Beach, Holyhead, Wales

Enjoy bonfire night on Penrhos beach this year!  The island of Anglesey in Wales is the venue which is an adventure in itself and a great place to visit and the fireworks are usually humongous and right over the sandy beach itself!

There is also a fair, seaside rides for the children and lots of local bands and entertainment.

Gates open at 5.45pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.16pm and the Fireworks starting at 7pm. Admission is £3 per adult and Children are £FREE.

There will also be loads of stalls selling burgers, hotdogs, cakes, toffee, glowy flashy things and a Hog Roast (be quick the Hog roast sold out in under an hour last year!)

360 Degrees, Swansea Bay

This is the place to watch 360 degree views of the Bonfire Night festivities in Swansea Bay.  They are stoking up the famous 360 BBQ and having an outdoor bar and delicious food along with great entertainment and terrific view of the fireworks. Starts from 5pm.

Carbis Bay, Cornwall

Bonfire night is happening in Carbis Bay on Sunday 4th November while everyone is off work!

It starts at 6pm and is sponsored by Carbis Bay Holidays.  The Carbis Bay Residents Association welcome everyone to join in the Bonfire Night celebrations with a big BBQ and fireworks, mulled wine, tea & coffee, doughnuts, candy and an entry fee of just £1 per adult and 50p for a child.
