Explore Newquay (Cornwall) Coast and Beaches

Newquay is a town and fishing port situated on the North Atlantic coast of Cornwall. Newquay is widely regarded as the surf capital of the UK, principally on account of its Atlantic coastline and many accessible sandy beaches. At the centre this surfing status is Fistral Beach which has a reputation as one of the best beach breaks in Cornwall. The annual Boardmasters Festival takes place at Fistral beach, with a music festival taking place at Watergate Bay. When most people talk about Newquay then surfing often appears in the same sentence but this is a classic beach resort suitable for the whole family as you also have a great town and plenty of non-beach activities including the zoo and aquarium.
