Arundel although just in from the coast is a must visit location and a good place to base a West Sussex visit if you want to stay away from the large coastal resorts of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. This market town is on the edge of the South Downs and at its heart is Arundel Castle, Church and river supplemented then with a selection of small shops and tea rooms. It has direct transport links to London (90 minutes) with the train station walkable from the town center. If you want a beach then we would recommend either Climping Beach or Littlehampton West beach.
