Dog Restrictions

Many coastal attractions and beaches are dog-friendly but may have local restrictions. Beach restrictions for dogs in the UK can vary depending on the specific beach, ranging from total peak season bans to dog-free zones. Our attraction and beach pages will list the particular bans in place, but it’s crucial to check local signage as it is tough to describe small areas.

We have three dog-friendly tags to guide you: dog-friendly beaches allow dogs, dog restrictions have local restrictions and dogs prohibited have an all-year-round ban.
