Shaldon Beach is situated on the mouth of the river Teign, an unspoilt Devon village formed as silt was washed down by the river Teign.
Shaldon has the Shaldon Wildlife Centre dedicated to conservation and sits between the riverside Shaldon Beach and the seaside Ness Cove Beach.
Dogs are not permitted from 1 April to 30 September along Shaldon Beach between the Clipper Quay and the steps to the beach approximately 410 metres southeast of the Clipper Quay. But this does mean dogs are allowed all year east of the steps.
Parking and other facilities within the village itself.
