The Beach Hut Cafe
The Beach Hut Cafe is located on the award-winning Friars Cliff Beach, Christchurch, with amazing sea views from Hurst Spit in the East, to the Purbeck Hills in the West.
A family-run beachfront café, open all year round, serving breakfasts, snacks, burgers & sausages, homemade cakes and ice-creams. Plenty of seating, both at tables on the prom, on the beach, and if the weather turns, under our covered verandah or indoor seating areas.
There are two car parks nearby, both with wheelchair access to the Promenade. The café has wheelchair access and a disabled toilet.

The Beachcomber Cafe is located on the Barton clifftop and is surrounded by stunning views of the Solent and needles. The cafe is open 364 days a year, in the summer you can sit outside in our garden whilst in the winter snuggle up to the log burning fire. Well behaved dogs welcome!

Mudeford Quay is at the entrance to Christchurch harbour is not a beach but provides a great family day out location. You can fish off the quay, walk to the beaches nearby, take the ferry to Mudeford Sandbanks and Hengistbury Head or participate in watersports. From this point you can sail, windsurf, canoe in Christchurch Harbour or out to sea.

Studland Bay has over 250 beach huts of which some 50 are available for rent from the National Trust. The huts vary in location in that some are on the beach edge overlooking Studland Bay whilst others are set back and more secluded among the sand dunes. Rent can be daily or weekly from Saturday to Friday.

The Mudeford Lifeboat station is located at Mudeford Quay and operates an inshore lifeboat. This is a very picturesque location at the entrance to Christchurch harbour. Visits are allowed during crew training, check schedule on display in boathouse notice board.
